If a Client is paying with multiple payment methods, you can split the balance due between them.
If you wish to split the payment between a Credit Card and a Cash, Check, or Other payment method, you can refer to the steps below:
- Login at www.massagebook.com/login.
- Select Schedule.
- Locate the appointment you need to check out.
- Select the appointment block to open the side menu.
- Select Check out to go to the first page of Checkout and to review the details.
- Click Select Payment Method to proceed to the next page.
- Select one of the Cash/Check/Other options as your payment method.
- Enter the amount of the Cash/Check/Other payment received from the client.
- Select Record Payment.
- Select Charge.
- Select your tip amount, if necessary.
- Enter the client's card information and select Complete.
This method can be used if a client is paying for their service via credit card, but would like to leave a Cash/Check/Other tip. You would begin by recording the amount of the Cash/Check/Other payment that you received from your client, and would then record the tip amount when applying the credit card payment.
Note: The Cash/Check/Other payment method will allow you to customize the amount being recorded, so it must be selected first. The Credit Card payment method will charge the card for any remaining balance due, so it must be the last payment method recorded.
