To disable your Online Booking Rules and prevent clients from scheduling appointments themselves:
- Select Settings.
- Select Online Booking Rules.
- Deselect the top checkbox on the page for the setting "Allow online booking for existing Clients".
- Disabling this setting will automatically disable all other booking rules as well.
- Select Save.
Once Online Booking has been disabled, clients will no longer be able to book new appointments via your website, and will also be prevented from rescheduling any existing appointments already on the schedule. But, clients will retain the ability to cancel their own appointments from their account, or their appointment-related email alerts.
Disabling Online Booking will also cause any client with a prepaid service or series credit to lose their ability to schedule their prepaid credits themselves. Any prepaid credits will need to be manually applied to the appointment when added to the schedule: Booking an Appointment Using a Series or Prepaid Service Credit.
Note: Disabling online booking will not affect Gift Certificate sales. Clients will still be able to purchase gift certificates via your website.
