MassageBook Manager is compatible with card readers provided directly from Square, and you can find more information about the compatible readers here: Which Square Devices are Compatible with MassageBook?
Below, you can find steps on connecting the readers with MassageBook's integration with Square:
Square Bluetooth Reader
Before checkout, you can connect your bluetooth reader by following the steps below:
- Select the Menu in the top left corner of the app:
- Select App Settings.
- Select Checkout.
- If you have multiple locations, you will need to select the desired business from the "Checkout" section on the page.
- Select the Hardware section.
- Select Connect Reader.
- Push the button on the card reader until all lights flash orange to enable bluetooth discoverability.
- Select your reader and complete connection.
Alternatively, you can select the gear icon next to Pay with Square during checkout. If following this route, you will begin at step 5 above.
Note: Your business must be connected to your Square account from within your MassageBook account prior to beginning checkout.
Square Magstripe Reader
The Magstripe reader will be recognized and automatically connect when it is plugged into your device.
Square Stand
The Square Stand should be plugged directly into the tablet you are using for checkout and will connect automatically during checkout.
