MassageBook Manager lets you check out appointments and record all the credit card, cash, check and other sales you receive from your clients. To checkout an appointment on the mobile app:

Tap an appointment within your schedule to open the Booking Details page.
- If you are in the Agenda view, you can also swipe right on the appointment to see a checkout option.

Tap Checkout

Add Item allows you to add services, products, or promotions to the sale.
- Note: any services added during checkout will be added to the client’s record as a prepaid credit to use in the future.
- Edit Total allows you to discount the total amount due, or exempt the transaction from taxes.

Select payment method of choice:
- Store Credit will apply any store credit available on the client’s record
- Cash will allow you to enter the amount paid, including tip
- Check will allow you to enter the check number and the amount paid, including tip
- Gift Card will require that you enter a gift certificate code and the amount paid, including tip
- Other will allow you to enter the form of payment and the amount paid, including tip

Pay with credit/debit card will allow you to process a client's credit card payment
- Connect your reader to dip, tap, or swipe the card, use a card saved on file, or choose to manually enter the card information.
- Select Additional Tip, if the client is tipping with a different payment method than the main purchase (not available for credit card transactions)
- Tap Complete
- After payment has been completed, you can choose to send a receipt to the client.
Notes:
- For credit card transactions, the client will add their tip and signature after the card is swiped/manually entered.
- If you enable the setting to "select tip before payment" you will be presented with a tip option after selecting Pay with credit/debit card.
- Tipping during payment with a card reader will only be possible if the Merchant Classification Code on your account is set as the "Health and Beauty Spa" category. If you do not see tipping options, please contact Stripe for assistance on setting your account properly.
- If your client is paying by credit card, then the tip option will display between the card swipe/tap/manual entry and the signature stage. If it's cash/check/GC/other transaction, then the tip will be included in the total amount paid that's entered.
