This article describes how to set up your MassageBook account.
Below is a quick overview of the essential steps you need to complete to start accepting clients and managing your business using MassageBook. We've also included a detailed explanation of each step for easy reference:

1. Complete Business Setup
This one minute video walks you through the steps you need to take to complete your Business Setup by navigating to the Setup area and filling out Business Details, About, and Services and Products sections.

2. Fill out Personal Section
After completing the business setup, you want to take a moment to fill out your personal information. Navigate to the “Personal” area of your account, select "Listing" and add a few words about yourself.
- Under My Details, you can specify your personal information and address.
- In the About section you can write a personal Tagline, add a Bio and upload a Professional Photo.
- Next, you can fill the Licenses & Education page, with information about your state issued license, educational background and NPI number.
- Places of Work is completed by default, unless you want to add multiple companies you work for.

3. Add Availability Hours
Now that you've completed your business setup, including your service menu and added your personal information, it's time to add your Availability Hours. In this video we will focus on Recurring Availability.

4. Enable Credit Card Processing
Connecting a Credit Card Processing platform allows you to easily accept payments, and perform several operations that will be important for your day to day business, including:
- Taking online Payments through your MassageBook website.
- Accepting in-person Payments through your MassageBook account and our Mobile App.
- Activating Pre-Payment and Card-on-File requirements to protect your business from No-Shows.
- Selling Gift Certificates and running Promotions.
- Enrolling your clients in monthly Membership Plans.
Navigate to Settings and Credit Card Payments section, where you can select from the two available options:
- MassageBook Pay (powered by Stripe)
- Square

5. Activate Online Booking Rules to “Go Live”
Once you've added your Availability Hours you are ready to "Go Live". Navigate to Settings and Online Booking Rules area, where you can select from various booking options.
