Prepaid Service and Series credits are only redeemable towards the specific service and duration listed on the credit. It is not possible to create a "half" credit, so if a client wishes to apply their prepaid credit to an appointment with a different service or duration, the prepaid credit will need to be converted to Store Credit that can then be applied towards any service/duration.
To upgrade a client's Prepaid Service or Series Appointment:
- Cancel the current appointment with the prepaid credit applied (if applicable).
- Book the client's appointment for the upgraded service/duration.
- Select the client's appointment.
- Select Details to open the client's record.
- Select the Credits tab.
- Remove the credit.
- For Series: Scroll to the Pre-Sold Series Credit section and select Edit to the number of credits remaining. Adjust the number of credits down by 1.
- For Service: Scroll to the Pre Sold Individual Services section and select Remove next to the credit.
- Select Save or Yes.
- Select the Account tab in the client's record.
- Scroll to the Store Credit section below the list of transactions and enter an amount matching the value of the service included in the client's Series.
- Select Apply.
This Store Credit can then be redeemed during appointment checkout, and the client can pay the remaining balance for the upgraded service/duration with their desired payment method. You can find more information on redeeming Store Credit here: Applying Store Credit during checkout.
