Checking Out Using a Split Payment With Square

With the introduction of Square's App Switch functionality into MassageBook Manager, you can now split a payment between 2 different credit cards. To do this, you must first enable the "Open Square POS during checkout" setting. This can be done by:

1. Open the MassageBook Manager app.
2. Select the menu in the top left corner of the screen.
3. Select App Settings.
4. Select the Checkout settings.
5. Enable the toggle for "Open Square POS during checkout"
6. Select Save.

To checkout an appointment using multiple credit cards:

1. Open the MassageBook Manager app.
2. Navigate to the schedule.
3. Select you desired appointment on the schedule.
4. Select Checkout.
5. Select Next.
6. Select Pay with Square.
7. Select Split Amount in the top right corner of the screen.
8. Follow the prompts to complete the transactions.

When checking out an appointment using a credit card and another payment method, you will need to record the credit card transaction last. In the scenario below, the client is will be paying for a $100 service with $75 in Cash and $25 on their credit card:

1. Open the MassageBook Manager app.
2. Navigate to the schedule.
3. Select you desired appointment on the schedule.
4. Select Checkout.
5. Select Next.
6. Select Cash.
7. Enter the $75 amount in the designated field.
8. Select Record Payment.
9. Select Pay with Square.
10. Record the payment for the remaining $25 using the Square integration.
