Should you need to update your bank account information in your Square account, you can do so from both the Square POS mobile app and the Square Dashboard. To do so from the Mobile App, use the steps below:
- Sign into the Square POS mobile app.
- Tap the More button (3 stacked lines) in the bottom right corner of the app.
- Tap Settings.
- Under Account, tap Bank Account.
- Tap the Change Bank Account button.
- Enter the requested bank account information. You can find this information listed at the bottom of your checks, or you can contact your bank to confirm this information.
- Tap Continue.
Square will send a confirmation to the email address Square has on file for you.Click the link within 24 hours to confirm the bank account change.
To update your bank account information in the Square Dashboard, you can do so with the steps below:
- On a desktop/laptop computer, sign in to your Square account.
- From the Menu, choose Account & Settings.
- Under Account, choose Bank Accounts.
- Choose the Change Bank Account button on the right hand side of the page.
- Enter the requested bank account information. You can find this information listed at the bottom of your checks, or you can contact your bank to confirm this information.
- Click the Verify button in the top right corner of the page.
Square will send a confirmation to the email address Square has on file for you.Click the link within 24 hours to confirm the bank account change.
Note:
- The entire verification process can take up to 4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Square isn’t able to expedite the process.
- Until your new bank account is verified, Square will continue to send deposits to your currently linked account.
