Part 1: Displaying Your Business Listing in the Search Directory:
Thousands of massage and bodywork businesses across the United States and Canada get found and booked by new clients weekly through our professional search directory.
Your professional business listing on MassageBook helps you get noticed by visitors searching nearby and lets them book and prepay (required) for their first appointment. By default, your Business Listing automatically shows in the MassageBook Search Directory once Setup is complete.
The Business Listing can be toggled off or on at anytime. To do so, navigate to your:
- Business Profile.
- Select Business listing in the top right corner.
- Select No to remove it or Yes to add it.
- Select Save to apply your preference.
Part 2: Accepting new client referrals from Search Directory:
As a second step, you can choose to allow NEW clients to directly book with you through your business listing that is now displayed in the Search Directory on massagebook.com.
To start accepting new client bookings through the Search Directory:
- Navigate to Settings.
- Select Online Booking Rules.
- Navigate to New Client Referrals section.
- Turn on ""Accept new clients coming directly from MassageBook’s national search directory".
If you turn the toggle on, there will be a 15% New Client Referral Fee taken from the new client's first payment. You can find more information on these fees here: Understanding New Client Marketing Fees.
Notes:
- Once you've enabled your business listing it may take up to 24hr for it to appear online.
- Clients who have your MassageBook Business Website Address will still be able to view your page even if your Business Listing is offline.
- The Business Listing setting will need to be manually enabled for additional businesses/locations added to your account.
- By default, when clients are browsing the Search Directory, results will show businesses that are: "Available for bookings within the next 48hrs" and "Accept New Clients via the Directory".
