Users connected to MassageBook Pay will have the ability to prevent clients from submitting prepayment for their appointments if requiring card information for late cancellation/no show.
To prevent clients from prepaying online:
- Select Settings.
- Select Online Booking Rules.
- Select Prepayment Rules.
- Enable the setting "Require card information for NEW (first time) clients booking online"
- Select "Place card on file for late cancel/no show" from the dropdown.
- Disable the setting Clients can choose to prepay in full
- Enable the setting "Require card information for Existing (repeat) clients booking online"
- Select "Place card on file for late cancel/no show" from the dropdown.
- Disable the setting Clients can choose to prepay in full
- Select Save.
If your business is connected with Square, clients will have the option to prepay online, even if you do not require prepayment. You cannot remove the ability to prepay as long as card processing is active.
Note:
- All new clients booking via your search directory listing will be required to prepay regardless of your prepayment rules.
