When a Gift Certificate is sold via the Cash Register in the MassageBook Manager mobile app, the purchasing client will receive an email to complete the personalization of the Gift Certificate. This email allows the client to select a gift certificate template, enter a custom message, and then choose to either send the gift certificate via email or print the certificate.
If a certificate shows that it is "Not yet personalized", it means that the purchasing client has not yet selected the link in the email they received and personalized the gift certificate they purchased. The code for a certificate that has not been personalized can still be viewed, but is only visible in the Account tab of the purchasing client's record until personalization is complete.
If a certificate has not been personalized, you can:
- Find the code under the Account tab in the client's record.
- Resend the Personalization Email.
To view the code for a "Not yet personalized" Gift Certificate:
- Select Clients.
- Select to open the purchaser's client record.
- Select the Account tab.
- Scroll to the Gift Certificates section of the page.
Note: If a client wishes to skip personalization, the gift certificate code can be emailed to the recipient by selecting the "Resend" button on the client's Account page. This will remove the "Not yet personalized" message from the gift certificate throughout the software.
To resend a Gift Certificate Personalization Email:
- Locate the Certificate in either the Gift Certificates Report or in the Credits tab of the purchasing client's record.
- Select Resend.
- Enter the email address you wish to receive the personalization email.
- Select Send.
Note: A Gift Certificate cannot be expired if it is not yet been personalized.
