If you are an existing Client of a Business and you share an email address with one or more other existing Clients, you all can use the same account to manage activity with that Business.
In order to share an account, the Business needs to have a separate record for each Client but with the same email address on file for all.
Once you sign into your account during online booking, you'll be asked to select a recipient if the Business has two or more Clients in their account who are associated with your email address.
To book using a shared account:
- Visit the Business's MassageBook Business Website.
- Select Book Now to view available Services.
- Choose the Category, Service, and Duration you want to book and select Book Now next to it.
- Select from any available add-ons (if applicable).
- Enter your email address and select Next.
- If you have an existing account, you will be asked to enter your password and select Sign In.
- If you do not have an existing account, you will be asked to provide First and Last name, Email, Phone number, and a password for your account, and then select Create Account.
- Select the Profile option for the client that will be receiving the service.
- Choose your desired time and date next to an available staff member, or select More Times to see more availability for a particular staff member.
- If selecting More Times, click Select Date to view other dates that the staff member is available to be booked.
- Review your reservation and add a note for your therapist (if applicable), then select Next.
- Review and Accept the Business's Cancellation Policy.
- Select your preferred Payment Option to complete booking a new appointment and to advance to the Booking Complete page:
- If you want to pay after the appointment, select Skip this (this will immediately confirm the appointment).
- If you want to pay with a Credit/Debit Card, select Credit Card or a Saved Card.
- If you're paying with a Gift Certificate, select Gift Certificate
- If you're paying with a MassageBook Gift Card, select MassageBook Gift Card.
- Select your Tip amount (if prepaying).
- If prepaying with a Credit/Debit card, enter the card information and select Pay & Confirm Appointment.
- Select Remember this card for faster checkouts if you wish to save the card for future online bookings.
- Select Save this card for future in office purchases if you wish to save the card on file for the business to use for appointment checkout in the future.
- If prepaying with a Gift Certificate or MassageBook Gift Card, enter the Code and select Apply Gift Card.
- Review the Appointment Confirmed page and select to add your appointment to the appropriate calendar app.
Notes:
- In the Appointments section of your account, the specific recipient for each past and upcoming appointment will be listed.
- All Clients sharing an email address will be able to view each other's booking activity, intake forms, and messages. They'll also be able to book, reschedule, and cancel appointments for one another.
- If a client elects to save a credit card, the card will only be accessible for that specific client. The other client(s) sharing the email address will not have access to the credit card information.
