As of April 2026, we have added Couples Services! Currently it is in an Early Access program for first looks and testing. We will roll it out to everyone with our next release currently scheduled for April 21st.
Below are some helpful tips on getting started with Couples services.
Creating a Couples Service
- Setup
- Services & Products
- Add New > Couples Service
- Enter all fields
- Select at least 2 staff members (this is required for online booking)
- Save
Note: You will need at least 1 room designated to Allow couples appointments: Adding and Editing Rooms.
Booking a Couples Service
- Click within the business schedule
- Select Couple
- Enter required information
- Select Book
You will then see two appointment blocks on the schedule with the client and staff assigned
Checking out a Couples Service
- Either appointment block can be selected for checkout and both appointment blocks will display as checked out once payment is received
- The primary client will be assigned as the paying client and it will appear on their Accounting history
- The Sales by Staff report will show the total dollar amount received when viewing either staff member assigned to the appointment
MassageBook Manager
- Currently the ability to checkout a couples service will be possible within MassageBook Manager, however booking couples services will be delayed a bit while the app is approved by Google and Apple. Version 3.0 of MassageBook Manager will offer booking couples appointments.
Booking a Couples Service Online as Client
- Clients booking online will see Couples services within the category set within your service menu. But they will also see a specific "Couples" category to select
- During online booking they will choose two staff members
- Guest information is optional during online booking. If the client enters all information then it will be added to your client records. If they do not enter any information then the client who books the appointment will appear on each appointment block.
- This is to allow the easiest and fastest online booking
- experience and to prevent clients from backing out of the process
