There are a few reasons why an email we show as being sent to a client is not visible to them in their inbox:
- The client's email inbox sent our email to the client's spam folder erroneously. Every email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, Hotmail, etc.) use automated spam filters to weed out emails that are of no use to you. Unfortunately, the spam filters make mistakes and capture emails that are actually important.
- Many email inboxes now have category filters that try to determine the type of email and then sort the emails into appropriate pre-defined folders. As we see with the spam filters, these category filters also make mistakes. An email may be filtered into the "Promotions" folder when it actually has nothing to do with the purchasing of goods. For visual reference, here is a screenshot from Gmail showing several folders that Gmail automatically sorts emails into.
