If you are experiencing issues updating your availability, it is likely due to an existing availability block assigned to that staff member at another location/business. If you or a staff member have availability at another business, you may encounter an error stating that the hours entered overlap existing availability, shown below:
That error message occurs when you are trying to add overlapping In-Office Availability at two or more different Businesses. Since you cannot physically be in two offices at once, we don't allow you to enter your Availability in that way.
If you or your Staff will be taking appointments out of two separate Businesses on one day, then the Availability at both Businesses needs to be added as On-Call. If you have overlapping On-Call availability at multiple Businesses, MassageBook knows when you're booked at Business A and prevents you from being booked online at Business B during that same time. Additionally, you can set up Lead Time to automatically block out travel time when switching from one Business to another. You can view instructions for setting that up here.
If you are setting up the Availability for yourself, then you can view all your Availability in your Personal Profile. You can navigate to that by selecting Personal > Availability. If you are setting up the Availability for your Staff member, then you will not be able to see the overlapping Availability. You can only see the Availability that they have at your Business. You can go ahead and enter their Availability as On-Call, but if they have any questions or concerns about how it's set up, they will need to log into their account and view their Personal Profile to view all their Availability.
