MassageBook Manager offers a few different ways to book appointments, each with their own benefits. This article will cover every way you can book an appointment from the mobile app.
Quick Action Button
The quick action button is located on your Dashboard, Business Schedule, and Personal Schedule (if you have access to more that one business profile in your account).
This is the fastest way to book an appointment as you will be guided through the booking process, in similar steps to how clients book online, and will have options to rebook appointments and easily select available time slots. To book from the Quick Action Button, you will follow these steps:
- Tap
on your Dashboard, Business Schedule, or Personal Schedule
- Choose Book Appointment
- If you have access to multiple businesses, and book from your Dashboard or Personal Schedule, you can choose the business you wish to book.
- Search for an existing client, or add a new client
- If you select an existing client, you will see previous appointments and can rebook them with the same service and staff member. Rebooking a past appointment will take you to step 5.
- Select a service
- If the client has any pre-paid credits available, those will appear as well.
- If an Outcall service is selected, then a prompt will appear to enter the appointment location.
- If Outcall, the address entered will need to fall inside the travel radius set in Out-Call Settings in order for the Availability Picker to display your open availability. If the address does not fall in your travel radius, you will have to select "Open Time Picker" to complete booking.
- Select a Date, Time, and Staff
- This can be done in any order. Choose a staff member first to see their availability, or choose a date and time to see which staff member is available at that time.
- The number listed below the date shows how many open slots are available for that date.
- Tap Looks Good once date, time and staff are selected.
- Tap Save on the Book Appointment Page.
Notes:
- The Quick Action Button is similar to the steps that a client takes when booking online. The staff members and time slots that show reflect each staff member's assigned services and availability. As the business you can always override service or availability conflicts to book an appointment.
- The availability that displays during booking in the mobile app, whether using the Quick Action Button or one of the other methods below, does not account for the Appointment Rules on your Online Booking Rules page (i.e. "How far in advance must appointments be booked", "Show appointment start times", "Make me look busy", or "Minimize gaps").

- View the Day, 3 Day, or Week views
- Tap within your schedule
- Select Book Appointment
- Select client, staff, service and room or outcall location (if applicable)
- Tap Save
Client Record
- Tap Menu
- Tap Clients
- Tap a client’s name to open their record
- Tap the Schedule icon in the upper right corner
- Select staff, date, time, service, and room or outcall location (if applicable)
- Tap Save
Staff
- Tap Menu
- Tap Staff
- Tap the Schedule icon next to a staff member’s name
- Select date, time, service, and room or outcall location (if applicable)
- Tap Save
Once an appointment has been scheduled, it can then be checked out, edited, or cancelled:
