Saving a SOAP Note as a draft adds an indicator to it to alert you that it's incomplete. This is useful if you're in between appointments and want to record your initial notes before you have time to finalize it.
To save a SOAP Note as a draft, navigate to your:
- Personal Profile.
- Select SOAP Notes.
- Type in Search Clients to locate and select an existing Client to open their history.
- Select +New Blank to open a blank SOAP Note.
- Add notes as needed and complete requirements.
- Select Save as Draft to save the first version and add it to the Client's record.
In the SOAP Notes section of your Personal Profile, "Draft" will be listed next to the note under the Recent Notes list.
In the SOAP Notes tab of the Client's record, "Incomplete" will be listed next to note in the history.
