If you need to refund a client, you can do so directly in the MassageBook Manager app. There are a few options to refunding a payment, depending on the status of the appointment.
If the appointment is booked and prepaid online by a client, you can select to issue the refund while cancelling the client's appointment. To do this:
- Open the MassageBook Manager app.
- Navigate to the Schedule.
- Select the appointment on the schedule that you wish to cancel and refund.
- Select the 3 dots that appear in the top right corner of the screen.
- Select Cancel.
- Select Cancel And Refund.
- Enter your Refund Amount.
- Select your Refund type.
- Enter your Reason for the refund.
- Select Process Refund.
Note: If the client cancels their prepaid appointment themselves, or if the prepaid appointment has already been checked out on the schedule, you will need to issue the refund for the client's original payment via the web version of your account: Issuing a refund to a client.
If the appointment was not prepaid and has already been checked out, you can issue a refund for the payment taken at checkout by:
- Open the MassageBook Manager app.
- Navigate to the Schedule.
- Select the appointment on the schedule that you wish to issue a refund.
- Select the receipt icon located in the green "Checked Out" banner at the top of the screen.
- Select the 3 dots that appear in the top right corner of the screen.
- Select Refund.
- Enter your Refund Amount.
- Select your Refund type.
- Enter your Reason for the refund.
- Select Process Refund.
Note: This will issue a refund for the client's payment, but will not remove the appointment from the schedule.
