Editing Prep and Recovery Time for In Office Appointments

Prep Time is the amount of time you need to prepare for an appointment. Recovery Time is the amount of time you need after the appointment to meet with the Client, clean the room, etc.

Both times are blocked off on your Schedule to prevent scheduling conflicts and are added outside of the Service's duration. Both are automatically added on a per Service basis when you create a Service in your Service Menu.

You can adjust Prep and Recovery when booking on a per appointment basis. To do so, navigate to your:

  1. Business Profile. 
  2. Select Schedule
  3. Locate the date and time you want to book.   
  4. Click on the calendar to create a new event. 
  5. Select Book Appointment to begin filling in the appointment details. 
  6. Once you've chosen a Service, select More to view the Service's default times. 
  7. Adjust Prep Time and Recovery Time as needed. 
  8. Select Apply to save the changes. 
  9. Complete any remaining required appointment details. 
  10. Select Save to book the appointment with the updated times and to return to the Schedule.

To adjust Prep and Recovery after an appointment has been booked, navigate to your:

  1. Business Profile. 
  2. Select Schedule
  3. Locate the appointment. 
  4. If it already includes Prep and Recovery, click either the Prep block or the Recovery block attached to the appointment block to open the edit modal. 
  5. Change the minutes as needed. 
  6. Select Save to apply the change and to return to the Schedule. 

Alternatively, you can edit time within the appointment details. Click the appointment block and select Edit > Edit > More
