The MassageBook Manager app will allow you to save a credit card on file when taking a client's payment.
During the payment process, a toggle to "Save card for future payments" will appear after selecting Pay with Stripe option on the "Select Payment" page. To save the card on file, follow the steps below:

Tap an appointment within your schedule to open the Booking Details page.
- You can also go to the Cash Register and create a service or product sale.

Tap Checkout

Add Item allows you to add additional services, products, or promotions to the sale.
- Note: any services added during checkout will be added to the client’s record as a prepaid credit to use in the future.
- Edit Total allows you to discount the total amount due

Add Item allows you to add additional services, products, or promotions to the sale.
- Tap Next
- Select Pay with Stripe.
- Select Enter Manually.
- Enable the toggle "Save card for future payments"
- Enter the client's credit card information.
- Select Continue.
After selecting Continue, you will then need to proceed to complete checkout and the client's card will be charged and saved for future use.
To charge a client's card saved on file in MassageBook Manager, follow the steps below:
- Click on an appointment and select Checkout.
- Select Next.
- Select Pay with Stripe.
- You can swipe left or right to view all saved cards on this client's account.
- Select Pay With: xxxx-5555 to select the card and complete the transaction.
Note:
There are 3 ways that a client's credit card information can be saved with MassageBook:

The card is saved by the business. This includes:
- Saved during checkout in MassageBook Manager.
- During Membership Enrollment.
- Saved by the client during online booking.
The business is only able to use a card saved on file during checkout if the card was saved using option #1. Card information saved during membership enrollment or by the client during online booking will not be available to be charged during checkout.
