After you create and finalize a Promotion, you can seamlessly post it to both Facebook and Twitter using the provided tools so that visitors to those pages can access it.
To share a Promotion on Facebook, navigate to your:
- Business Profile.
- Select Marketing.
- Select Promotions.
- Locate the Promotion you want to post.
- Select Facebook Share to open the Share on Facebook window. Note: Ensure pop-up blockers are deactivated for your browser.
- Select the Share on Your Timeline dropdown to choose where to post on Facebook (optional).
- Add comments (optional).
- Select Post to Facebook to share the Promotion's link on the Facebook page you selected.
To share a Promotion on Twitter, navigate to your:
- Business Profile.
- Select Marketing.
- Select Promotions.
- Locate the Promotion you want to tweet.
- Select Twitter Share to open a window where you can share the link with your followers. Note: Ensure pop-up blockers are deactivated for your browser.
- Add comments (optional).
- Select Tweet to share the Promotion's link on your Twitter page.
To share a Promotion within a Campaign email, navigate to your:
- Business Profile
- Select Marketing
- Select Promotions
- Locate the Promotion you would like to share via email.
- Select Campaign Share to be directed to the Campaign creation flow.
Now the button within the Campaign will direct clients to your Promotion landing page. You can learn more about creating a campaign here
Note:
- Each time you share a Promotion, a red circle with a number in it will appear next to the share button. This is how many times you've shared it on either Facebook or Twitter.
- However, because Twitter doesn't allow MassageBook to know whether or not it actually posted to Twitter, the shared count increases each time you initially select Twitter Share even if you decide to cancel.

If you receive a "user opted out of platform" message, you can resolve this by logging into your Facebook account and selecting Preferences > Settings and Privacy. You should see two listings: "Apps, websites and games" and "Game and app notifications". If the button reads "Turn On", click on it and follow the steps to enable. If the settings are already on, click on the button to "Turn Off", disable it, and then turn it back on again. These instructions may vary based on whether you are using the desktop or app version of Facebook,
