Split payment in desktop version of software:
1. Click the Appointment on your Schedule that you want to checkout.
2. Select blue Check out button on small white window that opens.
3. When the Checkout process opens, select the blue Checkout button underneath the Total. If there is a discount to be applied do so first.
4. Enter any tip. If none, then skip this step.
5. Select Cash as the payment method.
6. Enter the amount of cash that is being used for payment. After doing so, a red Balance Due line will appear.
7. Select Record Payment.
8. You will be returned to the payment methods page showing the remaining $ due.
9. Select Charge as the payment method.
10. Enter the credit card information.
11. Select the blue Charge button.

Please note: when using the desktop version of the software, you will not be able to use a Square card reader.
Split payment in mobile app using Square:
1. Tap the Appointment on your Schedule that you want to checkout.
2. Tap green Check Out button.
3. Tap green Next - Select Payment Method button. If there is a discount to be applied do so first.
4. Tap Cash.
5. Enter the amount of that is being used for payment.
6. Tap green Apply Payment button.
7. You will be returned to the payment methods page showing the Balance Due in black and a green banner showing the $ amount of cash was applied in Step 5.
8. Select Checkout with Square.
9. Your Square POS app will open showing the Balance Due referenced in Step 7.
10. Complete the transaction in Square POS app.
