The accounting methodology to which Massagebook's Receipts and Reports adhere states that Income transactions (and thus the associated Receipts) are assigned the date on which they are processed. To illustrate:
- If payment is collected at the time of the Appointment, the date assigned to the Income and the Receipt will match the date of the Appointment.
- If an Appointment is pre-paid for, the date assigned to the Income and the Receipt will match the date of the pre-payment.
- For instance, on January 1 a client books a January 30 Appointment online and pre-pays for it. The Income and Receipt for the Appointment will be dated January 1 meaning it will display in your Reports on January 1.
Note:
- The date assigned to Income and Receipts cannot be changed at this time.
