When checking out an appointment, or creating a new sale in the Cash Register, you can choose to create a Gift Code (Amplify plan required). This will allow you to create a custom gift certificate code that can be used by a client during online booking, or during checkout.
To add a gift code to a purchase, follow these steps:
- Check out an appointment or open the Cash Register
- Tap Add Gift Card
- Tap Create Gift Code
- Enter a unique code (this can be any combination of letters, numbers, or special characters)
- Enter the amount that should apply when the code is used (this can be any dollar amount)
- Tap Save
Example:
Creating a code of "massage123" with an amount of $50, means that a client would have a $50 gift certificate to use at your business and the code associated with that certificate would be "massage123"
Note: the code must be unique. So, for example" if "massage123" is used, it cannot be used again
Clients can also print the certificate or email it from within their client accounts. To do so, the client would follow these steps:
- Go to MassageBook.com
- Log in
- Select Credits
From there, the client will see all gift certificates that they have purchased. Each purchased gift certificate will display with an option to Email or Print. If a client chooses Email they can enter the email address for the recipient. If they choose Print, they will print the certificate. In either case, the custom code will be displayed.
