Why do we do what we do?

This past weekend I scheduled a massage for myself with a local therapist who recently started using MassageBook.

And I was reminded.

It was truly one of the best massages I've ever received. She was fully present and her technique was not only technically sound, it had that "x factor" that communicated she really cared about what she was doing and that she was there to help me feel better.

I left the session in a very different frame of mind than when I arrived, and deeply grateful. It was a powerful reminder of why I feel so strongly about helping independent massage and bodywork professionals succeed - you make a difference in peoples' lives.  

And as a tribe over 200,000 strong, the collective positive change our profession can create is beyond meaningful - it has the power to be world changing.

I just wanted to share this perspective with you for the next time you're feeling a little smaller or less significant than you'd like.

What's new this release:
Client details get a makeover
Client details give you a complete overview of ALL your client's activities since the day you first saw them.
There's a wealth of information here, and we wanted to make sure it was even easier to find what you were looking for.

The next time you log in, cruise on over to the Clients section and take a look. The same, simpler view is also mirrored when you access client details directly from your schedule.

One notable area is to the right of the client photo, where, if you have the intake forms feature enabled, you can easily be alerted to and view contraindications the client has as well as any medications they're
on - important information to be aware of. 
Efficient Intake Forms Printing

Digital intake forms is one of our most popular features. Most of the time you won't need to print anything out, but sometimes you'll want your clients to fill out a paper version.  

When that happens, it's easy to print them off with the click of the "Print" button. While that's not new, what's different now is that we've condensed the length of the intake form from six pages to four, saving time and paper!

Welcome to MassageBook mobile app 2.0

We made public the WEB version of the new mobile app last release.

As of yesterday, both the iOS and Android native apps have been submitted to their respective app stores, and we just need to perform some final testing on native devices before we make them publicly available on iTunes and the Google Play store.

If everything goes as planned, you'll see the new, updated apps available sometime next week, at which time they should update automatically on your phones. (If you have the current app installed)

You'll find way more functionality in version 2.0, and an even more intuitive experience. We think you'll agree that it's pretty cool to be able to get through a whole day with nothing more than your phone!
