Understanding the Icons on Appointment Blocks

The icons on an appointment block denote important information about a Client's appointment. 

What's included?

• The Client's online booking source. 
• If it's a new or existing Client. 
• If and how the Client prepaid online. 
• If the Client selected any contraindications or medications on their Intake Form. 
• If notes or reminders are included. 
• If the appointment is part of a recurrence. 
• If more than one Service or Add-on is booked. 

Each icon and what it indicates is listed below.  

Online Booking Sources 

[New - MB]: A new Client booked via your MassageBook Search Directory Listing. MassageBook uses the listed email address for each Client as their unique identifier to determine whether the Client is existing or new. By MassageBook's definition, a new Client is someone who books online using an email address not on file in your list. If a new Client books through the Search Directory, the appointment is subject to a marketing fee.

[MassageBook]: An existing Client booked via your MassageBook Search Directory Listing or their own MassageBook Client account. The appointment is not subject to a marketing fee because the Client already exists in your list. 

[New - FB]: A new Client booked through your Facebook Business page via Facebook Connect. An appointment booked through this source is not subject to a marketing fee. 

[Facebook]: An existing client booked through your Facebook Business page via Facebook Connect.

[New - Ext]: A new Client booked through an external source such as a Book Now button on your own website or your MassageBook Business Website. An appointment booked through this source is not subject to a marketing fee. 

[External Source]: An existing Client booked through an external source such as a Book Now button on your own website or your MassageBook Business Website.

[Campaign]: An existing Client booked through a Campaign email. If you see NEW next to "Cam", the client who received the Campaign either forwarded it to a new client who booked from the email, or the existing client booked with an email address not in your client list. 

[New - RWG]:A new Client booked through MassageBook's Reserve with Google integration. 

[Reserve with Google]: An existing Client booked through MassageBook's Reserve with Google integration. 

Note: A booking source icon does not appear on the appointment block if it's booked by the Business. 

[Pre-Paid]: A Client prepaid online with a credit card at the end of the online booking process or an appointment is booked by the business using a prepaid credit from the client's record.

[Pre-Paid] [] : A Client prepaid online with a Gift Certificate at the end of the online booking process. 

Intake Form Alerts

[C]: Denotes that the Client selected an existing condition on the the Intake Form. Open the appointment details or the Client's record to view the contraindication(s). 

[M]: Denotes that the Client listed a medication on the Intake Form. Open the appointment details or the Client's record to view the medication(s). 

Appointment Alerts

[]: A text box denotes that Staff added a reminder to the appointment or that the Client left a note during online booking. Select the appointment block to view the notes in the side menu that appears. 

[]:The circular arrows denote that it's a repeating appointment. 

[+]: A plus sign to the right of the Service name denotes that more than one Service or Add-on is booked. Select the appointment block to view all Services or Add-ons in the side menu that appears.
